Have You Tried Training Before?
Whippets aren't stubborn or stupid they just need training that works with how they actually think.
Generic recall advice rarely accounts for prey drive, sighthound sensitivity, or a dog who can bolt it before you've finished saying their name.
Recall is fine at home but falls apart the moment there's a distraction

How Does It Work?
This course has been designed to be progressive and supportive.
On signing up you will receive your login details.
Then each Monday from when the course starts, you will get access to 3-5 lessons each week to work on when you login. These are video lessons and contain text and sheets.
In addition to compliment and support your learning you will get access to a facebook group AND weekly zoom sessions.
These zoom sessions are not essential, they are a bonus to support your learning. These will be recorded each week. While the facebook group is there to post videos for feedback, updates and learn along with others!

Why Whippet Wonders?
I have lived with Whippets for the last 15 years and have trialled all the traditional recall techniques. Telling my dogs to sit, recalling them out of it...but I realised none of them worked for my dogs in the real world around distractions.
Instead I discovered needed to teach my Whippets a reliable recall cue that they understand and teach them I'm a valuable teammate. Working with their passion to chase vs fighting it. Whippets can learn recall, they can learn to handle distractions.
My self paced courses and live zoom workshops have been helping struggling whippet owners around the world since 2020. I decided to create a 4 week programme out of it so that owners can get support over a longer period and not be constricted by time zones.
I am excited to host this new programme and see whippets learning recall from anywhere in the world!

Is this suitable if my Whippet has no recall?
Yes . The course starts from scratch. You don't need any foundation training in place. The lessons build from the very beginning as well as including around distractions.
What is the difference between this and a 121?
This is a group online course, so content is not specifically tailored to your Whippet. however you get support via the weekly zooms and fb community group.
I'm based outside the Uk, can I still join?
Yes! You can login from anywhere in the world and start your learning from your living room.
How long do I have to complete the course?
You have access to the course as long as Whippet Wonders exists. Meaning you can login and learn anytime to suit you, completing the course at your own pace.
