I decided to sign up to Zara's reactive to responsive course, as my boy can be reactive to other dogs and animals. In the 4 week course I've learnt a lot of techniques to help handle situations, that previously I'd have struggled to manage. I know we've got a way to go, but Zara's techniques are definitely helping. If anyone is struggling and needs help, please reach out to Zara. She's lovely and has a lot of experience and knowledge about our pointy nose buddies.

I contacted Zara at Whippet Wonders for advice regarding Joy who had become reactive to other dogs. We signed up for Zoom 121 and had our initial session. Zara was really helpful, actively listening and giving clear and useful advice. Following the initial call we received a full report, work sheets and videos, which are great to follow. Joy is certainly showing signs of improvement and I really feel well supported knowing I’m able to contact Zara for advice in between sessions when needed.

The 1-1s for reactivity have worked amazingly well for both Scout (who was the main culprit) and also for Hugo (who had begun to join in at times) and we have really seen such an improvement and change of emotional reaction to other dogs and on many walks now we have no reactivity and noticing if there is reactivity it’s no where near as bad which is amazing! Using ‘find it’ works well if there is reactivity. The training that Zara has given and the tips have really worked. Zara is very committed to her training and is always on hand to answer any questions and offer additional tips! Today we went to John Lewis and Scout & Hugo were both brilliant -lots of other dogs and lots of attention from the hoomans and not a single bark and both boys really relaxed and on their best behaviour!
